I certainly love doing shoots on location and shoots at my client’s homes. It offers an array of new ideas, environments and fun new ideas, best of all these shoots are extra special and personal for the family.

Last month I had the privileged to photograph Conner and Sydney at home. Two gorgeous , handsome boys, with loads of smiles , lots of energy and even more personality. This was a busy family photo shoot and the boys had myself, mom, dad, aunty and uncle  on the run. The most important though especially with children’s photography was that the boy’s were relaxed and being their usual bubbly, busy selves.

Sydney loved his gadgets and was a keen photographer himself, while Conner was so content to play and bounce around mom and dads bed !

Carol and her mom came to visit me for a maternity shoot. What a pleasure to have the opportunity to be Carol’s Maternity Photographer, she came with all sorts of little goodies for the Maternity Shoot.

We added in babies first blanket and booties. Carol also brought along letters to spell out little babies name … Liam !  This made the  maternity session extra personal and special and when carol looks back at her maternity photographs in many years to come these items will remain special and bring a smile to her face. For the preggy shoot we used a cute little dress of Carol’s as well as some blue material of mine to show off Carol’s tummy in a lovely blue as carol was having a  baby boy. Carol was glowing and beautiful!  Little Liam has just arrived a few days ago so the newborn photo shoot will be soon and posted ! I cant wait to meet Carol’s little bundle of joy !

I recently had the privilege to host Inge’s photo shoot party for her 11th Birthday at my photography studio based in Kyalami.  The idea behind the photo shoot party is that although its about having your photographs being taken by a professional photographer it is all set up to have fun, get dressed up, look pretty, spend some really cool quality time with friends and still have all the photographs to keep as memories. I think we did just that!

Inge and her friends all came prepared with fun outfits, props and loads of fun attitude. The girls all had professional make up done to feel extra pretty and special. What naturals and all models in the making.

First we had fun in casual jeans and T-Shirts and then moved on to something a little more dressed up …..
